What does John Lennon mean to you?
I have listened to John Lennon’s music since I was very young and I believe that his iconic songs had a great influence on my own songwriting.
Why Revolution?
Revolution has always been one of my favorite Beatles songs, and I picked the song because of the power in its lyrics and timeless message.
Music has been part of Bailey's life since her youngest years. The fire to perform was lit shortly after being cast as a Munchkin in the Wizard of Oz at age five. In her hometown of Princeton, NJ, Bailey sang with the Princeton girl choir, studied piano at Westminster Conservatory, performed in various regional and school theatrical productions, and at 13 was invited to sing the solo, "The Snowman," along with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra. In 2010 Bailey professionally recorded her first two songs, "Circus" and "Drop of Poison," the former with some help from seasoned musicians Andy Newmark, Felix Krish and Anthony Krizan. In 2011 Bailey released another song, “All a Blur,” for Bermuda’s Ride the Wave 2 album. Bailey’s influences include Adele, Coldplay, Jack Johnson, and Ingrid Michaelson, and of course The Beatles. Currently completing her senior year at a prep school in Connecticut, Bailey continues to write music, lead the school's female a cappella group, study, and prepare for college.
