What does John Lennon mean to TWO GUITARS?

 

LENNON was the catalyst in the decision to play music for life.  Happy Xmas/War is over is such a beautiful song and probably the best nontraditional xmas song ever! The Two Guitars have been performing in Barbados for the past sixteen years, and  features the talents of Derek Fields (one time lead singer with Ivory) on vocals and Acoustic guitar, and Jimmy Duncan (guitarist  and vocalist with  Ivory and The Splashband),on electric guitar and vocals.

 

These two Musician entertainers have been performing in Barbados and internationally since the sixties in a variety of bands, The Merryboys, Ivory, The Splashband and The Getbak band to name a few, and have been pleasing audiences through the years with their dynamic approach to the songs they cover. Two Guitars play a variety of music to suit any occasion or ambience, from the quietest dinner setting to a raunchier bar crowd. Their repertoire is based mainly on the classic contemporary music of the 60's and 70's inclusive of artist like Elton John, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, The Beatles, Eric Clapton and music of that caliber which works well with the baby boomer crowd that makes up a large part of our visitor clientele. Also included in their performance are medleys of Bob Marley and Caribbean traditional standards.
