Paint for Peace Art Exhibit
BECAUSE THE ARTS ARE A VITAL PART OF ANY CHILDS EDUCATION
This project is championed by the KALEIDOSCOPE ARTS FOUNDATION.
BELCO is a generous sponsor for this project.
HOW IT WORKS:
Phase 1
Ride the Wave Foundation in collaboration with Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation will provide the schools with the art supplies needed for the project, thanks to our sponsors’ generous support.
Phase 2
The teachers will help the kids with brainstorming about peace.
What does peace mean for them? What does peace look like?
Phase 3
The kids will interpret the peace statements through their art.
Phase 4
250 paintings will be part of a big show next September @ the Bermuda Society of the Arts in the City Hall. Kids art will sell for $ 100 and the money raised will go back to help the ARTS in the Bermuda Schools.
Phase 5
All the art will be digitized and shown at the next PEACE DAY CONCERT.
